ADJOURNMENT. - DEFENCE.

The MINISTER FOR DEFENCE submitted an oral Report on the activities of his Department. On the basis of the vote made at last Session, his whole Department was being re-organised.
P. O GEALLAGAIN (Cavan West) moved, and FIONAN O LOINSIGH (Kerry South) seconded, the adoption of the Report.
SEAMUS BREATHNACH (Cork City) moved as an amendment the motion standing in his name as follows:—
"That suitable steps be taken to defeat the application of Curfew."
ALASDAIR MAC CABA (Sligo South) seconded.
The amendment was put and defeated and the adoption of the Report was then agreed to.
