DECREES - LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE.

The MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS said that there were two Decrees before them.
The first was from the MINISTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT, as follows:—
"IT IS HEREBY DECREED that the Local Government Code of laws in operation in Ireland up to and including the 17th day of September, 1920, be and is hereby adopted subject to such amendments and alterations as may be directed by order of the Local Government Department of Dáil Eireann with the approval of the Ministry. Such order or orders to be ratified at the first meeting of the Dáil following the making of same."
He formally moved this Decree, which was seconded by M.P. COLIVET (Limerick City) and unanimously adopted.
