Vol. 1 No. 11

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - INSTRUCTION OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS.

To ask the Minister for Education whether, as recommended in page 17 of the Report of the National Conference on Primary School Programmes, the Education Department proposes to pay fees for instruction given outside school hours in such subjects as Advanced Geometry, Mensuration and Algebra, and, if so, will he say when the programme for the Junior Leaving Certificate, which is the course specified in these subjects, will be available.

It is proposed to pay fees for instruction given outside school hours in the subjects named in the question. A programme indicating the lines on which instruction should be based will be issued shortly.
