Vol. 2 No. 33

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - A SLIGO PRISONER.

To ask the Minister for Defence if any decision has been taken concerning the release of Jack Fowley, arrested some five months ago by the Free State Army, in Sligo town, and at present in Sligo Jail, and if it is the case that this prisoner is only 14½ years old, and is willing to sign the necessary undertaking for good behaviour.

Mr. Fowley is now detained in Newbridge Detention Barracks. His age as given by himself is 16 years. He has refused to sign the usual form of undertaking.
