Vol. 3 No. 5

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - TEACHERS' PENSION PAYMENTS.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is a fact that some sixty National Teachers, whose services terminated on 30th September last, have received no pension payments up to the present; will he explain what is the nature of the legal difficulties which stand in the way of the granting of pensions since December 6th, and can he say how soon these legal formalities will be completed, and the pensions paid.

The majority of these cases have already been dealt with, and the remainder will be cleared off within the next week or ten days.
