Vol. 3 No. 19

COMMITTEE ON FINANCE—ESTIMATES FOR PUBLIC SERVICES. - VOTE 28 (NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE.)

I notice that the Minister went from Vote 27 to Vote 29, omitting Vote 28, which is National Health Insurance. I understood him to say, yesterday, I may be in error, that he was going to take Votes 19 to 29 inclusive. If that is not the intention when, may I ask, is it hoped to take Vote 28?

Vote 28 is not on the list before me.

I am merely dealing with the phrase used by the Minister himself yesterday. I took down what he said, and it was that he intended to take Votes 19 to 29 inclusive.

Deputy Figgis is quite right. I have had to exclude Vote 28, but I will take it up at an early date.
