Vol. 3 No. 25

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - A MOYVORE RAID.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that the house of Miss K. Kelly, Ballinacurra, Moyvore, was raided by armed men on the night of September 19th, 1921, and a bicycle stolen; to ask whether it is proposed to compensate Miss Kelly for the loss of this bicycle, and, if so, to state where application should be made for same.

The Minister for Finance has asked me to state that no claim has been received from Miss Kelly, but if she desires to lodge an application for compensation under the provisions of the Damage to Property (Compensation) Act, 1923, she should do so in the manner prescribed by Section 4 of the Act. Forms of application may be obtained from the Secretary to the County Council concerned.
