Vol. 4 No. 6

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - DEPENDANT'S ALLOWANCE FOR CO. MEATH VOLUNTEER.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that no dependant's allowance has yet been paid on behalf of Volunteer Christopher Reilly, Ballivor, Co. Meath, at present stationed at Amiens Street, Dublin, and to ask that payment be now made.

A claim for an allowance was received from the mother of Volunteer Reilly, but on investigation it was ascertained that she had not, in fact, been dependent on him for a considerable period prior to his enlistment. The claim was, therefore, disallowed.
