190 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will introduce a car testing system for garage owners where they can have their cars tested on a designated day each week and allow garage owners opt for the car test ahead of the due date to facilitate the sale of second hand cars. My Department has met the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, at the latter's request, to discuss these matters and further contact in relation to them is anticipated.
