Vol. 4 No. 19

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ ORAL ANSWERS. ] - AN ATHBOY ARREST.

asked the Minister for Defence if he can state the reasons for the arrest, some three weeks ago, of John McCormack, Derrylangan, Athboy, Co. Meath; what charge, if any, has been preferred against him; and whether the Minister can now authorise his release.

Mr. McCormack was arrested in connection with an armed raid on the house of Mr. Simmonds, of Meadstown. The question of preferring a charge against him is under consideration.
