asked the Minister for Defence if and when it is proposed to pay compensation to Mr. N. H. Walsh, 17 Leinster Road, Rathmines, in respect of his being knocked down by a military Crossley car in August, 1922. (Q.T.O. 2/30/22 and B.T. 112/98/23.)
WRITTEN REPLY. - COMPENSATION CLAIM.
TOMAS MAC EOIN
As neither the car nor its driver has been identified after prolonged enquiries even as being connected with the Army, it is not proposed to make any payment in respect of Mr. Walsh's claim in regard to which, in any case, my Department has no legal liability.
