Vol. 6 No. 3

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DEPENDENT'S ALLOWANCE (NENAGH).

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware whether Edward Gleeson, Mill Road, Nenagh, late of the 11th Battalion, National Army, No. 23617, has not received one month's pay and ration allowance due to him, and whether this man's wife did not receive dependent's allowance for the same period, and, if so, if he will state the reason?

At the time of Private Gleeson's discharge from the Army a doubt arose as to whether he was entitled to demobilisation pay and allowances. It is regretted that his case was overlooked. Payment is now being made.
