WRITTEN ANSWERS. - MILITARY OCCUPATION OF MOYELTA HOTEL, (DUBLIN).

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that military occupied for some weeks the premises of Mrs. Sadlier, Moy-Elta Hotel, Amiens Street, Dublin; whether she secured foodstuffs and other goods in local shops for their upkeep, and whether he has received a claim from Mrs. Sadlier in respect of the loss she sustained during the period of occupation, and if payment of same will be expedited.

A claim in respect of loss to business and damage to property due to military occupation of her premises, has been received from Mrs. Sadlier. It is under consideration by the Commissioners of Public Works, who are responsible for dealing with claims of this kind.
