Vol. 6 No. 18

ORDER OF BUSINESS.

On a point of order, may I ask with regard to the Orders of the Day before us, seeing that we have started upon this motion, and in view of the fact that certain business was left over from yesterday, exactly what business will be taken to-day, and particularly when the President's Motion will be taken to-day, if it is to be taken to-day.

After the motion by the Minister for Finance is disposed of I propose to move the Motion that stands in my name, which I gave notice of yesterday, and which I promised last week to introduce some day this week.

Is it to be taken that we cannot have a definite hour to be known when this Motion will be taken? I only wanted to know, as I may not be here in the Dáil.

The only matter left over from the debate on the Second Reading of the Old Age Pensions Bill is the reply of the Minister for Finance. I presume he will not be unduly lengthy, and we may assume that the Motion will come on, therefore, at least before 1 o'clock.
