Vol. 6 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DEPENDENTS' ALLOWANCE (TULLOW).

EAMON O DUBHGHAILL

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Thomas J. MacSweeney, No. 10216, joined the National Army in 1922, was married 27th June, 1923, and was discharged 19th September, 1923; whether repeated applications for dependents' allowance for his wife, Mrs. MacSweeney, Mill Street, Tullow, Co. Carlow, have been made without success, and whether payment of the allowance will be expedited.

A cheque has now been sent to Mrs. MacSweeney, which clears the account up to the date of her husband's discharge from the Army.
