Vol. 6 No. 24

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - BICYCLE SEIZED.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that a Raleigh bicycle (value £12 10s.) was taken from Joseph Kelly, Ballinakill, Leix, by members of the National Army stationed at Abbeyleix, on July 6th, 1922; whether he has received repeated applications from the owner for the return of the machine, or compensation for loss of same, and if he can now state the decision of the Ministry in connection with this claim.

Applications have been received from Mr. Kelly. The matter is now under local investigation, and an early decision will be given.
