WRITTEN ANSWERS. - AN OFFALY ARREST.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that William Pigott, 11 Davitt Street, Tullamore, Offaly, was arrested in August, 1922, and is still detained at Hut No. 1, Camp No. 2, Tintown, and if he is prepared to order the release of this prisoner, or state the reasons why he is being detained.

It is intended at present to continue the detention of Mr. Pigott for considerations of public safety.
