CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - FREE STATE CURRENCY.

asked the Minister for Finance if he can say apapproximately how much of the £259,716,756 10s. Od., certified by the Secretary to the British Treasury to be in currency on the 6th of March, was current on that date in the Free State; and if he will take steps to estimate such amount from month to month for issue under the certificate of his Department concurrently with the certificate of the Secretary to the British Treasury.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, and the answer to the second part of the question is also in the negative.
