Vol. 6 No. 31

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - UNPAID DEPENDENT'S ALLOWANCE.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Mrs. Mary Cooper, of Market Square, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, has not received dependent's allowance for the last three months in respect of her son, Private George Cooper, Army No. 3327, 61st Battalion, Union Barracks, Ballina, Co. Mayo, and whether the Minister will give instructions for all arrears to be paid immediately.

Mrs. Cooper's allowance was paid up to the 30th December last, the date of her son's re-attestation. Under Defence Order No. 30 dependent's allowance is not issuable in the case of a soldier who re-attests.
