CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BALLON (CO. CARLOW) DEPENDENT'S ALLOWANCE.

EAMON O DUBHGHAILL

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state why dependent's allowance has been discontinued since July last, to Mrs. Shrennon, Ballon Hill, Ballon, Co. Carlow, mother of Private Patrick Shrennon, No. 59172, B Company, Carlow.

Payment of dependent's allowance to Mrs. Shrennon was suspended on the 21st July, 1923, owing to an overpayment of £7 8s. 0d. having been made up to that date. The balance of allowance due has now been issued to her.
