Vol. 6 No. 40

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MOVILLE (TIRCONAILL) TRAGEDIES.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received a claim for compensation from Mrs. Kilmartin, 1 Montgomery Terrace, Moville, Tirconaill, on account of the death of her son, and also her brother, J.J. Carrolan, who were murdered near Dungiven on the night of May 5th, 1922, and, if so, whether same has been considered and with what result.

As these men were killed outside the area of Saorstát Eireann after the 1st April, 1922, their names do not come either within the terms of the Army Pensions Act or within the purview of the Compensation (Personal Injuries) Committee.
