Vol. 7 No. 25

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - FIDDOWN BRIDGE.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether plans for the reconstruction of the Fiddown Bridge have yet been lodged by the Great Southern and Western Railway with his Department; and if so, if he will state what steps are being taken in the matter.

Plans were lodged on the 2nd instant by the railway company, to which it was suggested on the 5th instant that tenders for the necessary work should be advertised for without any further delay, so that the work may be completed during the summer months. It is understood that the company is preparing specifications with a view to advertising for tenders in the course of this or of next week.
