Vol. 8 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLAIM FOR OLD AGE PENSION.

EAMON O DUBHGHAILL

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether an application has been made on behalf of Katherine Neill, Tullow Hill, for an old age pension, and whether, in view of the fact that a sworn affidavit as to her age has been furnished to his Department, he will expedite the grant of a pension.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative.

The papers have been referred to one of the Ministry's Inspectors for local investigation of age, and a decision thereon will be given as soon as his report is received.
