Vol. 8 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WOUNDING OF ENNISCORTHY LADY.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that Miss Lacy, Castle Street, Enniscorthy, was accidentally wounded by rifle-fire on October 10th, 1922, sustaining injuries which necessitated long hospital treatment, the amputation of a foot and disablement for life; that her medical bills amounted to £450, for which she can produce receipts, and that she has been offered only £300 compensation; and whether he will have her case reconsidered.

I have nothing to add to the reply given to the question asked in this case by Deputy Redmond on the 25th April last.
