Vol. 8 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - FISH CURING STATION AT DUN LAOGHAIRE.

asked the Minister for Finance whether the Board of Works have yet reached any decision as to the establishment of a fish curing station on the West Pier at Dun Laoghaire.

The Commissioners of Public Works do not consider the suggestion practicable. There is no part of the pier at which fishing boats could lie to discharge, both because there is not sufficient shelter and because there is no proper wharf wall but only a sloping wall based on a rubble breakwater.
