Claims amounting to something over £100 are still unsettled in connection with the Under-Sheriff's account. Replies to the queries addressed to him have been received, but are under examination. The majority appear satisfactory, but reference to two other Departments has been found necessary regarding some of them. It is hoped, however, to close the account shortly.
