Vol. 9 No. 9

QUESTION ON ADJOURNMENT.

I desire to give notice that on the adjournment, I will raise a question on a statement with regard to the Army events of March last, published as having been made by the Commissioner of the Civic Guard at a gathering at which some members of the Government—the President at any rate—Army Chiefs, and Police Chiefs were present, to the effect that "we were now in the happy and proud position of being able to say that no officer or soldier of the Army who stood loyal to the State was let down." I desire to raise the question with a view to getting an explanation of the statement and of the making of the statement.
