Vol. 9 No. 14

NOTICE OF MOTION.

I would beg, with the leave of the Dáil, to move tomorrow, without further notice, a Motion asking the approval of the Dáil of the President's nomination for the Headship of the Department of Defence. If the ordinary notice were insisted on, this Motion could not be moved until Tuesday next. The filling of that particular Ministry is one of some urgency and importance, the more so as the President is incapacitated owing to ill-health. I would like to be allowed to move that Motion tomorrow.

We will put the Motion on the Order Paper tomorrow.
