CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ATHLONE PERSONAL INJURIES CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Mrs. Ramsey, The Berries, Athlone, lodged a claim for compensation in 1922 in respect of personal injuries inflicted by British Forces, and whether he will expedite payment of this claim.

The application referred to by the Deputy has been considered by the Compensation (Personal Injuries) Committee, who have recommended that no compensation should be paid. The applicant is being informed accordingly.
