Vol. 9 No. 27

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - PRE-TRUCE COMPENSATION CLAIM.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Finance whether the claim of Mrs. Margaret Mansfield, of Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary, for damage done to and destruction of her house by soldiers of the Lincoln Regiment in 1920-21, has been investigated and reported on by a representative of the Compensation (Ireland) Commission; whether a year has elapsed since this investigation and report had been made, and whether he will state the cause of the delay in settlement of this claim.

No award has yet been made by the Compensation (Ireland) Commission on the claim, and the question of settlement does not therefore arise.
