Vol. 10 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF COUNTY COUNCIL PENSIONS.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that great hardship is inflicted on persons receiving pensions from county councils through having to wait three months for payment, and, if so, if he will instruct the county councils to make payment monthly in future.

Complaints have not reached my Department in this matter. If the Deputy will give me particulars of any cases which have been brought to his notice the matter will be taken up with the local authorities concerned.
