Vol. 10 No. 10

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MEATH COUNTY HOME.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that there is congestion to a large extent in the County Home at Trim, Co. Meath, and, if so, if he can state what steps are being taken or will be taken to relieve this overcrowding.

This matter was brought specially under my notice a few days ago and I have asked the Inspector for the district to supply me with a report as to the present conditions. The management of this home and the general conditions affecting it have not been regarded as satisfactory. I will be pleased to afford the Deputy further information in reply to his question as soon as it is available.
