Vol. 10 No. 12

DAIL IN COMMITTEE. - DAIL RESUMES.

Certain amendments have been agreed to and certain amendments have been rejected; certain other amendments have been further amended. When does the Minister propose to take the Report of the Committee?

I would like if the Dáil would take the Report now. I am very rushed for time. I desire to get the Bill through before 31st March.

Is there any objection to the proposal of the Minister to have the Report of the Committee taken now?

I do not object through obstinacy or even pique; but I am not sure that the House is in a position to discuss these matters unless there could be placed before us even a typed sheet containing the amendments made in Committee and the amended amendments. I would be quite willing. to have the Report of the Committee under consideration if what I suggest were done between now and to-morrow morning. We could scarcely consider the Report now.

The Minister would not lose by having the amendments considered to-morrow.

I am quite agreeable.

Perhaps the Minister could get an opportunity for taking the Report of the Committee after questions to-morrow?

The sitting to-morrow will be a very short one.

Perhaps the President would agree to let the Minister take the Report of the Committee after questions to-morrow?

Every facility will be afforded to the Minister.

Ordered: That the Report of the Committee be considered on Friday, 13th March.
