Vol. 10 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWER. - COMPENSATION CLAIM (CO. CORK).

asked the Minister for Finance whether the claim of Patrick Murphy, Blacksmith, of Timoleague, Co. Cork for loss of tools and damage to his property by Irish Volunteers has yet been investigated, or any award made thereon, and whether, seeing that Mr. Murphy is a very poor man, an early settlement will be made in the case.

It is understood that the claim referred to by the Deputy is at present under investigation by the Compensation (Ireland) Commission, and that an award may be expected at an early date.
