Vol. 10 No. 22

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DISTRESS IN GALWAY AREA.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether he has received representations from residents in the parish of Ballymoe, County Galway, to the effect that acute distress prevails in that area, and urging that a share of the relief grants should be allocated to that district; and if so, whether any action has been taken as a result of these representations.

Mr. HOGAN

The notice given of this question was too short to enable me to obtain the necessary information to reply, and I would be glad if the Deputy would repeat the question at the next meeting of the Dáil.

Mr. O'CONNELL

With regard to Questions 24 and 25, will the Minister say how soon I may expect answers, and if the answers will be in writing?

Mr. HOGAN

Within a week, I should say.
