CUSTOMS RESOLUTIONS. - RESOLUTION No. 12.—STAMP DUTIES.
(1) That where an instrument is chargeable withad valorem duty in respect of money in any currency other than British currency, such duty shall be calculated on the value of that money in British currency according to the rate of exchange current at the date of the instrument.
(2) That Section 12 (which provides specific rates of exchange for the purpose ofad valorem duty) of the Finance Act, 1899, be repealed.
