Vol. 11 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BRITISH CLAIM UNDER ARTICLE 5 OF THE TREATY.

asked the President if he has received a memorandum from the British Government setting out the British claim under Article 5 of the Treaty in a form which is intended to serve as the basis of discussion between the Executive Council and the British Government; and if he will state what action he is taking in the matter.

The answer to the first portion of the Deputy's question is in the affirmative. I am not disposed to say more than that the necessary and appropriate action is being taken in the matter.
