I beg leave to introduce the Allotments and Common Pasture Bill, 1925, which is a Bill to facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of allotments and common pasturage, and for purposes connected therewith. In the course of discussions as to an Allotments Bill which was promised a year, or perhaps two years ago, both the Minister for Agriculture and the Minister for Local Government on several occasions suggested that a private member's Bill should be introduced. This is an attempt to meet that suggestion.
Leave given to introduce the Bill; Second Stage fixed for Friday, 5th June.
