Vol. 11 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - GALWAY TRADER'S CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance whether a claim has been received from Messrs. J. Fahy & Co., Ltd., Commercial Buildings, Galway, for compensation for goods commandeered by British Forces in 1921, to the amount of £115 11s. 9d., and if he can state how soon settlement of this claim may be expected.

There is no trace in the records of the Compensation (Ireland) Commission of the receipt of the claim referred to by the Deputy. Several smaller claims have, however, been received, one of which has already been dealt with, and the Commission's award thereon duly discharged.
