Vol. 11 No. 22

WRITTEN ANSWER. - EX-SOLDIER'S CLAIM FOR PAY.

asked the Minister for Defence whether the discharge paper of Volunteer John Regan, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis (Army Form 42, No. 43848), who was discharged from the Army on the 31st January, 1923, stated that he was entitled to reckon one hundred and eighty-four days' service towards pay; whether as a result he was entitled to £32 4s. 0d., and, if so, whether he will state why he was paid only £14 7s. 0d.

I am having Mr. Regan's claim reconsidered and will communicate the result to the Deputy as soon as possible.
