Vol. 12 No. 11

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. (ORAL ANSWERS.) - COMPENSATION AWARD TO LIMERICK CREAMERY.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what is the cause of the delay in paying the award made in the compensation claim of the Annacotty Co-Operative Creamery, Limited, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick, and whether he will have payment expedited.

No award in favour of the Annacotty Co-operative Creamery, Limited, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick, has yet been received in the Department of Finance. The question of payment, therefore, does not arise. It is understood, however, that an award will be sent immediately by the Compensation (Ireland) Commission to the Department, when no avoidable delay will occur before payment.
