CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LIMERICK SOLDIER'S PAYMENT.

asked the Minister for Defence whether Laurence O'Connell, 58 Wolfe Tone Street, Limerick, who joined the National Army on July 31st, 1922, No. 53892, and who was discharged on December, 1st, 1923, received pay only for twenty-seven days amounting to £4 16s. 6d., which cleared to October 7th, 1923; and whether he will see that balance due to date of discharge is paid forthwith.

A cheque in settlement of the arrears due in respect of Laurence O'Connell's service with the Forces was sent to his wife on the 12th instant.
