Vol. 12 No. 18

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLAIM FOR LOSS OF STOCK.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he will expedite payment of the claim of £500 and costs, as recommended by the Chief Valuer of the Board of Works as compensation for loss of stock alleged to have been taken by military from Messrs. Fulham and Murphy, drapers, 45 Wickham Street, Limerick, during their occupation of the premises in July, 1922.

The recommendation in question is under consideration by the Department of Finance. I understand that payment depends on the outcome of certain further inquiries which are being expedited.
