asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is now in a position to make his promised statement regarding the proposed construction of trunk roads in the Saorstát, when the work is likely to be started, the number of men likely to be employed, the total estimated cost of construction, and whether any portion of the cost is to be borne by the local authorities; also, the areas through which it has been agreed to construct such roads.
