Vol. 12 No. 20

BUSINESS OF THE DAIL.

If it is necessary for the conclusion of the business it will be moved that the Dáil sit later than 8.30 p.m., and that the adjournment be taken not later than 10.30 p.m. The business will be taken in the order on the paper. It is also possible that in the course of the Sitting business may come along from the Seanad. In that event I will ask leave of the Dáil to have it taken.

We can consider the matter of the late sitting about 6.30. With regard to tomorrow's sitting, the only business for to-morrow is the election of the Panel for the Seanad. The resolution under which the election is being conducted states that the declaration of the result must be made to Dáil Eireann. The result will not be available before 10 o'clock to-morrow evening so the arrangements for the declaration of the result must be made now.

I think it will be possible to arrange to-morrow that a quorum would be present at 10 o'clock for the announcement of the result.
