CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MOUNT TEMPLE (WESTMEATH) LANDS.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if it is the intention of the Land Commission to take over the lands of Fossagh, Mount Temple, Moate, at present in the possession of Captain D'Arcy, New Forest, County Galway, and previously owned by Mr. W. Russell, Mount Temple, as there are no other lands available for the relief of congestion amongst the large number of uneconomic holders in that district.

Mr. HOGAN

The Land Commission are about to make an offer for the purcase of portion of the lands referred to.
