asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if it is the intention of the Land Commission to take over the lands of Shinglas. Ballymore, Westmeath, at present in possession of Mrs. Malone, Shinglas; and if he will state if the owner has agreed to sell the land mentioned to the Land Commission for the relief of congestion in that district.

The acquisition of the lands referred to is under consideration by the Land Commission, but no agreement has been come to with the owner.
