Vol. 13 No. 12

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - WESTMEATH ARMY PENSION CLAIM.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that John Molloy, Loughnavally, Castletown-Geoghegan, Westmeath, applied for a Military Service Pension in December, 1924, and was before a Board of Assessors in Mullingar on May 1st, 1925, and whether, as this man claims to have been in the Irish Volunteers from 1917 until he joined the National Army in 1922, he will expedite payment.

Mr. Molloy's application has been referred to the Board of Assessors for the purpose of determining his service for pension purposes. The Board have not yet reported to me on his case.
