Vol. 13 No. 12

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - REDUCTION OF LISTOWEL OLD AGE PENSION.

SEAMUS O CRUADHLAOICH

asked the Minister for finance if he will state why the old age pension of 10/- awarded to Thomas Hegarty, Tullamore, Listowel, has now been reduced to 4/- per week, and if he is aware that Hegarty has only a very slender allowance from his son, who has been in possession of the farm for nineteen years.

I am having inquiries made and will communicate the result to the Deputy in due course.
