Vol. 13 No. 21

COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - CONFERENCE ON COST OF BUILDING.

Before the Dáil adjourns, now that both sides have agreed to a conference on the cost of building, might I suggest to the Government that they should follow the precedent set on the other side of the Channel where the conference was convened by the Government. I would ask the President to consider that aspect of the matter.

I would be very willing to do that following the suggestion made.

By the President himself.

If that is the wish I will do it. Am I to take it that it is desired I should be present?

I am satisfied if it is done by the Government.
